Version 1.0

voteMe.live is operated out of Ghana and processes payments through Paystack. We never share voter details with organizers beyond what the event's registration settings authorize. Tickets are signed with a rotatable HMAC key so a compromised scanner cannot forge entries. Read more in our privacy policy and how it works.

For organizers

The platform that treats you like a producer, not a data-entry clerk.

You came to run an awards show, a pageant, a church contest, or a ticketed event — not to reconcile MoMo screenshots against a spreadsheet at 2 a.m. voteMe replaces the patchwork with one dashboard, one set of audit logs, and one number that actually matches your bank.

The problem

You have spent more time on the spreadsheet than on the show.

Every Ghanaian organiser we have spoken to tells some version of the same story.

You launched the event on a Google Form. Nominations rolled in, and by the time you exported the sheet you had “Kwame Asante” spelled eleven different ways, three people called “Ama” with no surname, and a row where the phone number was clearly the nominator's, not the nominee's.

You collected votes through MoMo numbers pinned to a WhatsApp status. Supporters paid, sent a screenshot, and your cousin kept a private tally in a notebook. At some point the screenshots got ahead of the notebook, and by the time the tally caught up you were not sure whose vote counted and whose did not. When a losing candidate asked for an audit, you had no answer that was not “trust me.”

You sold tickets through a mobile money number and printed QR stickers yourself. A few codes got shared in group chats. On the night, the gate was chaos — your scanner was a volunteer with a laptop and a list. Some attendees walked in because they “already paid” and the list was incomplete, so you just waved them through.

None of this is a moral failing. It is what happens when the tooling does not exist. voteMe was built so you never have to do any of it again.

Dashboard

One dashboard for voting, tickets, nominations, and settlement.

Every event surface lives in the same event document. You do not bounce between apps or stitch reports together — the leaderboard, the ticket sales, the nominations pool, and your finance ledger are siblings on one page.

The dashboard uses a left-rail sidebar that reshapes when you enter an event. Global tabs (overview, events, studio, finance, help) are always one click from the top, but once you are inside Ashanti Music Awards 2026, the sidebar shows that event's specific tools: categories, contestants, voters, nominations, tickets, scanner, studio, chat moderation, finance, analytics, marketing, members, settings, audit, and danger-zone.

Every tab deep-links. Send a teammate dashboard/events/amas-2026/nominations?filter=hard-duplicate and they land on the exact filtered view they need. Browser back works. Your team stops screen-sharing because everyone can open the same pane independently.

Payouts

Paystack subaccounts, so your share and ours split at the source.

No reconciliation, no 'where is my money' support ticket. Revenue splits automatically at the Paystack charge: 90% to your subaccount on paid voting, 95% on ticketing and paid nominations. Paystack processing fees are absorbed by the platform entirely.

You provision one Paystack subaccount at event creation using your MTN MoMo, Telecel Cash, AirtelTigo Money, or bank account. Two fields. The same subaccount is reused across every revenue stream on that event — a hybrid event with voting, tickets, and paid nominations all settles to one destination.

All subaccounts are set to manual payout — no scheduled automatic transfers. You control when money leaves. Withdrawals are OTP-gated: we email a 6-digit code, you enter it, the request enters the finance-admin approval queue, and a Paystack transfer fires on approval. Typical turnaround is one business day. Every transaction — successful, pending, or failed — writes to the unified Transaction ledger.

Team

Bring your team in with exactly the permissions you want them to have.

Owner, manager, moderator, scanner, viewer — each with a preset of 14 fine-grained permission toggles that you can override per person. Your gate scanners see only the scanner page. Your finance lead sees only money.

Invite a member by email with a role preset. The preset populates a sensible set of booleans covering everything from canManageCategories to canViewAuditLog, which you can then customise. A scanner who doubles as a data-entry helper might get the default scanner preset plus canManageContestants — two clicks, no role-design meeting.

Members are never hard-deleted. If someone leaves, you suspend them and their account state is preserved in the audit log. Transfer of ownership is a deliberate multi-step flow in the Danger zone — not something a compromised manager can trigger in one click.

Studio

Design flyers that already know who your contestants are.

A Konva-powered canvas editor with dynamic layers that bind to your live event data. A contestant photo layer resolves to actual contestant images; a short code layer resolves to their USSD code. Generate one flyer per contestant in one click.

Pick a canvas preset — Instagram feed 1:1, IG Story 9:16, WhatsApp Status 9:16, Facebook, Twitter/X, or A4 print portrait or landscape. Drop a “contestant photo” layer, add the short code and vote count as styled text bound to live data, and save the template. The “Generate for all contestants” action clones the template across your entire roster — 40 contestants becomes 40 flyers, served as a signed-URL ZIP in about a minute.

Fifteen seeded starter templates ship at launch across awards, beauty pageant, music awards, sports, religious, and general categories. Every export composites a small voteMe wordmark watermark in a corner chosen per template so it flows without obstructing the design.

Election voting limits

Free voter registration is capped at 25. Upgrade when you need more.

Election-style events with free voter registration are limited to 25 registered voters per event. Paid voter registration has no limit. One-time upgrade tiers are available directly from your event settings.

The cap exists to prevent abuse of the free tier on very large election events, where the operational cost of running a registry scales with voter count. If your event is an awards-style paid voting event or a paid voter registration event, you are not affected — those have no registration limit. The calculator below helps you figure out whether you need an upgrade before you publish.

Everything else

The surfaces you use without thinking about them.

The platform is wider than the four headline features. Here is a sample of what else you get without doing anything extra.

Live analytics

Per-category leaderboards, traffic sources, conversion funnels, and peak-hour charts for every event.

Team members

Invite managers, moderators, scanners, and viewers with fine-grained permission toggles per person.

Marketing kit

Share-ready social cards, embed snippets, UTM builder, and a ZIP of every flyer for every contestant.

Venue wall display

A fullscreen /display route with huge rank-change animations, designed for the projector at your venue.

Studio flyers

Dynamic layers that bind to your event. Batch-generate flyers for every contestant in a single click.

Scanner PWA

Install the scanner on any staff phone. Offline-capable and syncs every scan to the audit log.

“The reconciliation view alone paid for itself. We used to spend two full days merging duplicate nominees before the finals round — now it is a morning, and the finance ledger at the end actually matches our Paystack statement. My events director stopped threatening to quit.”

What this means for you

Stop building your event on four separate tools. Build it once on voteMe, and spend the freed-up week on the show itself. The spreadsheet gets to stay closed.

Ready when you are

Your next event is ten minutes away.

Create it, connect Paystack, add your first category and a few contestants, and publish. You pay nothing until money moves.
