Paystack charges a processing fee on every transaction — typically around 1.95% on mobile money and 2.9% on cards for Ghanaian accounts. That cost comes out of our platform share entirely. It does not touch your payout.
What you see in the calculator and in your transaction ledger is what you receive. Our platform fee (10% on paid votes, 5% on tickets and nominations) is the total we take. Paystack's cut is our problem to absorb, not yours to calculate.
You can verify this by comparing your voteMe transaction ledger against your Paystack settlement report — the numbers your subaccount receives will match the calculator exactly.
You pay nothing at signup. We only charge when money flows through the platform. Your Paystack subaccount gets provisioned at event creation and handles the rest.
