How withdrawals work

When you are ready to receive your earnings, initiate a withdrawal from your dashboard.

Starting a withdrawal

1. 1Go to Finance → Withdrawals in your dashboard
2. 2Click Request withdrawal
3. 3Select the event and enter the amount you want to withdraw
4. 4Add a narration (optional note about the withdrawal)
5. 5Click Continue

OTP verification

For security, every withdrawal requires a one-time password (OTP) sent to your registered email address. Enter the 6-digit OTP to confirm the withdrawal request.

If you have two-factor authentication (TOTP) enabled on your account, you will also need to enter your authenticator app code.

Review queue

After OTP confirmation, your withdrawal enters a brief review queue. The platform's finance team reviews large or unusual withdrawals to prevent fraud. Most withdrawals are processed within a few hours during business hours (Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm GMT).

Transfer to your mobile money

Once approved, the transfer is sent to your mobile money account via Paystack. Transfer times:

• MTN MoMo: usually instant to 30 minutes
• Telecel Cash: usually instant to 2 hours
• AirtelTigo Money: usually 1–4 hours

You receive an SMS from your mobile money provider when the transfer arrives.

Withdrawal history

All withdrawals are listed in Finance → Withdrawals with their status (Pending, Success, Failed, Reversed). Click any withdrawal to see the full details.

What if a withdrawal fails?

If a transfer fails, the funds return to your Paystack subaccount and the withdrawal is marked as Failed. You can retry the withdrawal. If failures persist, contact support — this usually indicates an issue with the mobile money account registered on your subaccount.

Can I withdraw during an active event?

Yes. You can withdraw at any time, even while voting or ticket sales are open. Only funds already in your subaccount can be withdrawn — ongoing sales that have not yet settled are not available.
