Learn what each security check level means and which one is right for your election event.
Election-style events use security checks to verify that the person voting is the same person whose registration was approved. You choose the check level when setting up your event.
Voter IDs are generated automatically when a voter is approved. The format is the first letter of the event name + the last letter of the event name + a 4-digit number. For an event called "Voice Elections", IDs look like VE4291, VE7832, etc.
You cannot change the security level after voters have been approved, because existing credentials were generated for the original level. Plan your level before opening registration.
