How buyers can transfer their ticket to someone else, and how the refund policy works.
voteMe.live supports ticket transfers between buyers. If a buyer can no longer attend, they can transfer their ticket to another person.
By default, each ticket can be transferred once. If the organiser has adjusted this, the limit shown on your ticket detail page will reflect their policy.
Transfers are only available if the organiser has enabled them for the event. If you do not see a Transfer button, the organiser has disabled transfers.
Each organiser sets their own refund policy for their event. The policy specifies:
The platform enforces this policy β refunds outside the window or beyond the percentage are not permitted.
If the refund is within the policy window, it is processed automatically. The refund amount (minus any non-refundable fees) returns to your original payment method via Paystack. Mobile Money refunds typically arrive within 1 business day.
Refunded tickets are immediately invalidated. The QR code and short code no longer work at the gate.
Yes. Visit voteme.live/my-tickets, look up your order, and follow the same refund steps. If you do not have internet, contact the event organiser directly.
